Hello! I hope your summer has been just as beautiful as it has been in Texas! We’ve had mild temperatures compared to this time last year when we were probably at about 45 days worth of temperatures over 100 degrees by this time in 2011. Last summer was HOT, DRY and MISERABLE!! I’m loving the “mild” 90’s we’ve been having! ;-) Anyway………….this is a baby boy banner I made for my husband’s cousin, who is due to have her first baby – a boy. They are a super, super sweet family, so I hope they like it! Their nursery is in owls, with brown, blue, yellow and orange, so I incorporated some of those colors on the scallop circles and the letters. I just love this owl! Isn’t he just the cutest!!! Here is a shot of the front side of the banner. The baby’s name is Beau James, in case you can’t tell. ha! This is a shot of the back side of the same banner. I made it reversible, in case they want to use it at the baby shower or something……. :-) These are the products I used on this project. If you click on the links, you’ll be taken to the product on the Scrapbook Pal website, where you can shop their awesome selection of scrapbook products! And……….you get FREE SHIPPING over $25! So, what are you waiting for? GO SHOPPING! ;-) |
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time……………

Hi!
I sure hope your first week of school has gone smoothly and that your children love their teacher(s)! :-)
So, for today’s project, I have joined in on a challenge with cut files from My Scrap Chick. The challenge was to create a card using the Card Essentials Vol 2 collection. This project is also my card for the Scrappy Frogs DT, which is “Back To School”.
I created this card for my oldest daughter, who is a big SENIOR this year! I’m not sure what to think about that! I’m happy for her, but very sad for me that she’s almost grown…… :-/
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello!!
Here is a super simple Cricut Imagine birthday card. I printed the kite and sky layers with my Cricut Imagine, added some faux stitching with my black Millennium Pen, added the Happy Birthday sentiment, inked it with Spiced Marmalade and adhered it with Glossy Accents.

G’day!
I’m here today with a “Happy Birthday” card using several amazing products from Scrapbook Pal. I’ve had this cartridge since November and I think this is the first time I’ve used it! Sadly, I have several cartridges like that, but I hope to change all that in the coming months! I’m totally loving this Forever Young Cricut cartridge, so I suspect you’ll be seeing more projects from this cartridge!! ;-)
This card came together so easily, and while not my typical “clean & simple” style, I absolutely love the finished card! Hey, even my 17-year-old who is critical of EVERYTHING liked it! Now THAT is impressive! LOL
