Thanks for stopping by. Today I'm working on "Sweetie". Isn't she CUTE? She is from Owl Whimsy. They are brand new to the digital stamp world and their digis are SOOO adorable!!

For this project, I used:

New blog banner and logo - WOOHOO!!!

I am SO excited that I just had to share! I needed a logo for some business cards, so I went onto Etsy and did a request for a custom logo. Within 30 minutes or so, I had 8 bids, but I knew this one had to be the one when I saw it! After some back & forth tweaking to get it 'just right', this is my final image! Isn't it gorgeous!?! Yes, it's the same flowers you see of to the left of my page, but that's the beauty of it! Now my marketing materials will match my blog!

It's time to relax...

Arg! SO MUCH TROUBLE uploading to Blogger today! I ended up having to reboot my computer twice because blogger opened up about 100 (no exaggeration!) pages of nothing. Frustrating!!! ANYWAY, enough of my belly-aching and on to my card info:

Father's Day Card - Penny Black Challenge

This card is for Penny Black Challenge #50 Buttons Galore! I was to do any project I wanted with a Penny Black image or sentiment and use buttons. This is my dad's father's day card (so don't look Dad!). This is what I used:

Card Blank - Brown double sided paper from Autumn Leaves Foof-a-La paper pad
Image - Penny Black Mushroom Hedgehog 1998 (bought this at a garage sale at my LSS recently)
Sentiment - See-d's Father's Day circle set
Words on bottom are from Autumn Leaves Foof-a-La paper pad as well
Thought bubble - "blurb" from Plantin Schoolbook, inked with Olive Green StazOn and E50 to give it an off-white color. Yes, it's 'splotchy'. It's okay, the words at the bottom are splotchy too
Copics - YR31, E71, C1, C5, E37, E00, E50, E31, RV10, R37, C7, 0

I Love You - Cuttlebug Challenge 32

Cuttlebug Challege 32 was to use the Butterflies & Hearts folder or any folder you have. For this project I used:

Black card blank
Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug folder for the background layer, inked with Pink Passion SU inkpad.
Butterfly - Cut on Cricut with SCAL, then embossed and inked with Basic Black SU inkpad.
See-D's stamps - "I Love You" sentiment from "All My Heart" set and the Scallop frame from "Lil' Outline Frames". Popped it up with a little foam adhesive
Copics - B02 and BG23 to color the frame
Flowers - Two Primas from one of the milk bottles, layered with a brad in the center
Ribbon - Michaels (?)
Diamond Stickles - for the hearts on the background paper and in the embossed portion of the butterfly. I'm not sure if it'll show up on the photos, but if you click on them, you may get a better view. Bling is very difficult to photograph!

This was a very simple card, but I like the way it turned out. Here's the straight-on view!
