Family “M” CD Cover

Happy (Almost) Halloween!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying some cooler temperatures and you have super fun plans for Halloween with the kiddos! We usually have a low-key Halloween at some friends’ house, but we have a lot of fun!  I’m definitely looking forward to it this year!

Anyway…with a CD cover I made for a photo shoot Kelli of Kellukas Photography did of an adorable family!

For the “M”, I used Cricut Gypsy font from my Gypsy.  The papers are Graphic 45 Le Romantique.  I just love, love, love these papers!!!  They are SO pretty!!!

Haunted Hollywood Banner

Hi friends!

For today’s project for our Scrapbook Pal DT, I have created a banner for my son’s Halloween dance.  The theme this year was “Haunted Hollywood”.  The kids, as well as the adults, had a great time.  As the kids were leaving, we could hear them commenting about how fun it was and how they hoped we would do another one.  Coming from a group of about 500 6th thru 8th grade students, I’d call that a SUCCESS!  :-)

This banner was 13-15 feet long. I had no way of hanging it to get good photos…..so I enlisted the help of my youngest two. As you can see, they were oh-so-enthusiastic about it too….and I shared one of the best photos I had vs those where they were looking at me, squinting because of the sunlight, with the look of “hurry up already!!!” on their faces.  ;-)

Here is a closer view of “Haunted”.

And here is a closer view of “Hollywood”.

I’m not sure if you can tell from the photos, but I added the name, as well as year of birth and year of death of some of our theater arts teacher’s favorite deceased actors and actresses.

Nutcracker Sweet mini album

THANK YOU to all of you wonderful ladies who attended the Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor class at Scrapbook N More over the weekend.  I truly appreciate you all.  :-)

Quickly approaching is the Nutcracker Sweet mini album class, which will also be held at Scrapbook N More.  My mini album bounced all over the classroom and between the classroom and the front of the store, so Mr. Nutcracker got lots of attention yesterday.  See how happy it made him?  ha ha!

If you haven’t see this paper collection, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!  The colors are so rich and the ballet shoes are near & dear to my former ballet days.

This mini album has lots of pockets and room for plenty of photos of your Christmas, prima ballerina, etc.

Here is a sneak peek of two pages from the inside of the album.

Have a Mice Day card

Hi There……

I’m here today with a card for the Scrapbook Pal Design Team using the oh-so-adorable Cricut Mickey & Friends cartridge.  For the shirt & bow on Minnie, I used my Cricut Imagine and RGB colors for Disney characters (found online) to flood-fill the shapes and then cut them out.  I just love Mickey Mouse characters.  They’re so cute!!!

For the black scalloped square, I used the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge and weaved a piece of white ribbon around it.  I added a little stitching around the card base, then added Star Dust Stickles to the dots on the patterned paper and Minnie’s eyes.  I popped Minnie up on the card front and stamped “Have a Mice Day!” from the Pink By Design Animated Greetings 2 stamp set.  Cute sentiments….perfect for these Disney cartridges!!!

Interested in one or all of the products I’ve used on this project?  Click the photo below to be taken directly to the item in the Scrapbook Pal store.

As always, thank you for stopping by today! I hope you’ll leave a comment to let me know you’ve been by. :-)

Have a Mice Day!!!  ;-)

Mr. Chillingsworth’s Coffin

BOO!!

“Did I scare you?”

These are the words I get from my 8 year old on a regular basis.  She sounds like a herd of cattle coming, so I have to pretend I’m super scared!  Ah, the things we do for our children!  ;-)

I’m here today to share a project for the Scrappy Frogs Design Team.  The challenge is to create a Halloween project…anything but a card…so I created a coffin box and coffin shaped mini album.  :-)
