Billie's Scrappetique

You may have seen the picture I posted back in December or January where I was showing the vinyl I applied to my scrap room door. Well, I had some requests from people that wanted to see what's BEHIND the door, so I finally got around to taking pictures and doing a video tonight.

Here are the pictures:

This is my scrap room door. Vinyl for the words was some freebie vinyl from a local sign shop and the vinyl for the "bug" is Wall Pops that I purchased when Lowe's clearanced them out.

This is what I see when I walk into my room. My desk is on the far right-hand side of the room. The door straight ahead is the door out onto my balcony/porch.

A more up-close view of my desk area. There are brown file cabinets to the right, with my current ebay listings sitting there (hee hee), the almond color cart on wheels is my Alpha Smart cart. It holds 'some' of my 12x12 paper. It holds a ton of paper...you'll see inside of it further down. The white shelves to the left of the picture are Jet Max cubes. I got them for Christmas. They came from Michaels.

From behind my desk, this is the view I see of my Jet Max cubes. Yes, I know some of my drawers don't have handles! I put them together a few days ago and decided to go with the wooden knobs like you see on the one drawer. I put those on that drawer last night as a 'tester' to see how they're going to hold up before I start drilling into all of my drawers and ruining them! ;o) On top of the cubes: Sizzix, Xyron 900 and Cricut.

To the right of my desk, I have these handy little wooden bins that I bought at Tractor Supply on clearance back around Christmas. They had some ugly pictures on them, so I covered them up and I love 'em! The hold my Primas, Adhesives, Stickles and Glitters.

A peek inside the Alpha Smart cart! Look at all that paper that this thing holds...and it's not even full! Some of my paper is here, the rest is in the Jet Max cubes. Have I mentioned that I *love* paper??? The silver containers you see on top of the cart are little glass jars with silver lids that I bought at Ikea. They hold the majority of my Flower Soft.

My stereo, rolling tote and the slatwall my husband and I put up over the weekend to hold my ribbon. I've got about 1/3 of it on dowel rods and on the wall. The other 2/3 of my ribbon has small holes through the middle of the spool, so I'm going to have to get some smaller dowel rods.

How do you like those curtains? A little childish, but bright and cheerful. ;o)

If you'd like to see the video I did, click here. Hopefully they've completed the "audio swap" by the time you listen to this because I sounded like a TOTAL Texas girl (which I am)! LOL I couldn't stand it, so I had music placed over my voice. ;o)

So, there you have it! A peek behind the door...was it everything you expected??? ha!

Oh fine...make me feel horrible about my itsy bitsy (comparatively) space and the fact that I'm always stepping over stuff to get to my desk and the fact that my desk is always covered with stuff... Makes me think I need to reorganize. Again! :-) (Seriously though...very nice space!)
